Try searching for "astrologer Lecce" or "astrology reading Salento": you will find practices in Rome, Milan and Bologna that see clients online, a few apps, and no professional from the area. Not because there is no interest in the natal chart in Salento, quite the opposite: it is that those who practise here almost always work by word of mouth. From 2026 there is an address online too, and in the countryside at that: Masseria Montanari in Carpignano Salentino, where Valentina, fourth-level Reiki Master and astrology consultant we work with, holds her readings in person and online.
What an astrologer does, and what she does not
It is worth clarifying this before anything else, because the word "astrologer" still conjures up the Saturday horoscope or the fortune teller at the fair. A serious astrology reading is a work of interpreting the natal chart, the map of the sky at the moment and place of your birth, with the approach of evolutionary and psychological astrology: it is about character, tendencies, talents, knots that keep coming back, seasons of life. It does not predict the future, it does not promise money or marriages, it does not talk about medical matters. It is a tool for self-knowledge, carried out under Italian Law 4/2013 on non-regulated professions, and it does not replace medical or psychological care, nor financial advice.
In person at the masseria
The in-person reading takes place in the masseria's vaulted hall in Lecce stone, in Carpignano Salentino, in the heart of the Grecìa Salentina. It is an intimate, air-conditioned space, with the silence of the countryside all around: the right place for an hour and a half of talking about yourself without hurry. It lasts between 75 and 90 minutes and can become an integrated energy consultation, with a reiki session straight after the reading, for those who want to go a step deeper.
Distances are short from the whole province: 25 minutes from Lecce, 20 from Otranto and Galatina, 15 from Maglie, a few minutes from Martano, Calimera, Zollino and Corigliano d'Otranto. There is parking in the forecourt.
Online, from any city
For those who live far away, or who would rather stay in their own room, the reading takes place by video call, with the same length and the same care. The chart arrives by email, before or after the meeting. It is the way most Italian astrologers work, and it works: a reading is a dialogue, and dialogue travels well through a screen. Many choose online for the first reading and the masseria for the second, combining it with a weekend in Salento.
What you need and what to bring
Three pieces of information: date, place and time of birth. The exact time is on the full birth certificate, which you request from the municipality where you were born; "around midday" is not enough, because the Ascendant changes roughly every two hours. Then, if you wish, a question: a crossroads at work, a relationship that keeps repeating, a phase you do not understand. It is not compulsory, but it gives the reading a direction.
How much it costs
On the Italian market a natal chart reading costs between 48 and 80 euros online and between 90 and 135 euros for 90-minute or in-person meetings. At the masseria, prices will be announced at launch, first of all to those on the list, and we will stay within that range. No compulsory packages: one reading a year, or at every important turning point, is the right rhythm.
A reading as a gift
An astrology reading is one of the most appreciated gifts for a birthday, a graduation or a change of life: personal, takes up no space, unlike anything else. At launch it will be possible to give it as a voucher; those on the list will be the first to know. And for those who want to do things in style, a reading at the masseria can become a night in one of the lodgings, with the Salento countryside as the setting.
How to book
On the Energy page there is a dedicated form: write a couple of lines saying whether you prefer online or in person. Valentina replies personally, usually within a day, and asks you for your birth details. The first dates open in the coming months; those who write now have priority.
