It is not that Salento lacks interest in the natal chart. It is that those who practise it here almost always work by word of mouth.

What an astrologer does, and what she does not
It is worth saying straight away, because the word "astrologer" still calls to mind the Saturday horoscope or the fairground fortune-teller.
A serious astrology consultation is a reading of the natal chart, the map of the sky at the moment and in the place where you were born, with the approach of evolutionary and psychological astrology. We talk about character, tendencies, talents, knots that keep repeating, seasons of life.
The future is not predicted. Money or marriages are not promised. Health is not discussed. Astrology is a symbolic and reflective tool, it does not provide predictions about health, money or life outcomes and does not replace medical or psychological care.
In person at the masseria
The in-person consultation takes place in the vaulted hall in Lecce stone, in Carpignano Salentino, in the heart of the Grecìa Salentina. An intimate, air-conditioned space, with the silence of the countryside around you. The right place for an hour and a half in which you talk about yourself without hurry.
It lasts between 75 and 90 minutes. If you want a deeper passage, it can become an integrated energy consultation, with a Reiki session straight after the reading.
Distances are short from the whole province: 25 minutes from Lecce, 20 from Otranto and Galatina, 15 from Maglie, a few minutes from Martano, Calimera, Zollino and Corigliano d'Otranto. There is parking in the courtyard.
Online, from wherever you are
If you live far away, or if you want to stay in your own room, the consultation takes place by video call. Same length, same care. The chart of your natal sky arrives by email, before or after the meeting.
It is the way most Italian astrologers work, and it works: the reading is a dialogue, and a dialogue passes well through a screen. Many people choose online for the first consultation and the masseria for the second, combining it with a weekend in Salento.
What you need
Three pieces of data: date, place and time of birth. The exact time is on your full birth certificate, which you request from the registry office of the town where you were born. "Around midday" is not enough, because the Ascendant changes roughly every two hours.
Then, if you like, a question. A crossroads at work. A relationship that keeps repeating. A phase you do not understand. It is not compulsory, but it gives the consultation direction.
How much it costs
On the Italian market a natal chart reading costs between 48 and 80 euros online and between 90 and 135 euros for 90-minute meetings or in-person sessions. At the masseria prices come with the first dates, first of all to those on the list, and we stay in that range. No compulsory packages: one consultation a year, or at every important passage, is the right rhythm.
A consultation as a gift
An astrology consultation is one of the most appreciated gifts for a birthday, a graduation or a change of life. Personal, takes up no room, unlike anything else. At launch it will be possible to give it with a voucher: those on the list will be the first to know. And if you want to do things in style, the consultation at the masseria can become a night in one of the lodgings, with the Salento countryside all around.
