This notice describes how the personal data of users who browse and interact with the website masseriamontanari.it is processed, pursuant to Articles 13 and 14 of Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (“GDPR”).

1. Data Controller

2. Types of data processed

  • Browsing data. The IT systems running the website acquire, during normal operation, certain data whose transmission is implicit in the use of Internet communication protocols (e.g. IP addresses, browser and device type, pages visited, access times).
  • Data provided voluntarily by the user. Through the contact form we process the data you send us: name, email address, phone number (optional), type of request and message content.
  • Data collected via cookies and similar technologies. Only with your consent, statistical and interaction data. Details in the Cookie Policy.

3. Purposes and legal bases

  • Responding to requests sent via the contact form and providing quotes and information. Legal basis: pre-contractual measures requested by the data subject and/or consent (art. 6.1.b and 6.1.a GDPR).
  • Ensuring the operation, security and diagnostics of the website. Legal basis: the Controller’s legitimate interest (art. 6.1.f GDPR).
  • Aggregated statistical analysis of website use (Google Analytics). Legal basis: consent (art. 6.1.a GDPR).
  • Display of maps and third-party content (Google Maps). Legal basis: consent (art. 6.1.a GDPR).

4. Recipients and data processors

Data may be processed by parties acting as data processors pursuant to art. 28 GDPR, in particular:

  • Web3Forms — handling delivery of contact-form messages.
  • Google Ireland Ltd / Google LLC — statistics (Google Analytics), maps (Google Maps) and web fonts (Google Fonts).
  • Vercel Inc. — website hosting and delivery provider.

Data is neither disclosed nor sold to third parties for marketing purposes.

5. Transfer of data outside the EU

Some of the providers listed above are based in the United States. Any transfers take place in compliance with Articles 44 et seq. of the GDPR, on the basis of adequate safeguards such as the Standard Contractual Clauses approved by the European Commission and/or adherence to the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework.

6. Retention period

Contact-form data is kept for the time needed to handle the request and, thereafter, for the period strictly necessary to comply with legal obligations. Statistical data is kept for the duration indicated in the Cookie Policy. Cookie consent is stored for 6 months.

7. Rights of the data subject

At any time you may exercise the rights set out in Articles 15-22 GDPR: access, rectification, erasure, restriction, objection to processing, data portability and withdrawal of consent (without affecting the lawfulness of processing based on consent given before withdrawal). 8. Complaint to the Supervisory Authority

You have the right to lodge a complaint with the Italian Data Protection Authority (www.garanteprivacy.it) if you believe that the processing of your data infringes applicable law.
