Integrated Energy Consultation: When Reiki and the Natal Chart Work Together
Reiki works on the body and on energy; the natal chart works on the mind and on meaning. They are two different paths and, for most people, they stay separate: you go to a practitioner for one and to an astrologer for the other. When the same person can do both, as with Valentina, fourth-level Reiki Master and astrology consultant we work with at the masseria, a format is born that in Italy exists in only a handful of practices: the integrated energy consultation. This guide explains what it is and who it is for.
The idea, in one sentence
The natal chart reading shows where to look; reiki works where it is needed. The integrated consultation puts the two in sequence on the same morning, so that the second part is not generic but guided by what emerged in the first.
How it unfolds, step by step
The consultation lasts about two hours and takes place in the vaulted hall of Masseria Montanari, in Carpignano Salentino. This is the script.
- The reading (60-75 minutes). Seated, with the natal chart calculated in advance from your birth details, the chart is read: the main themes, the recurring tensions, the resources. If you have brought a question, that is where it starts. It is a dialogue, not a monologue.
- The pause (10 minutes). A cup of tea, a few steps in the garden. It lets the words settle before moving on to the body.
- The reiki session (45-50 minutes). Lying on the couch, fully dressed, in silence. Valentina works with her hands on the energy centres, with extra attention to the points the reading has brought to light.
- The closing. A few minutes to come back, a glass of water, a word or two about what you felt. You take the chart home with you.
Who it is for
- For those going through a transition: a change of job, a separation, a move, a bereavement, a decision that will not come loose.
- For those who have already had an astrology reading and feel that the head has understood but the body has not.
- For those who have already received reiki and would like to understand what is moving, as well as feel it.
- For those looking for an experience of self-knowledge that is complete in a single visit, perhaps combined with a weekend in Salento.
It is not the right format for those who just want to try reiki (a single session is enough) or for those who want a quick reading of the chart (the online reading is enough).
Why only in person
Reiki is received through the hands, and the reading-pause-reiki sequence works when it happens in the same place and at the same time. This is why the integrated consultation takes place only at the masseria. Those who live far away can have the astrology reading online as a first step and come to the masseria for the integrated part, perhaps staying in the lodgings and making a weekend of it.
What it is not
It is a wellbeing practice, not a therapy, and it is not a diagnosis: reiki and astrology are practices of wellbeing and self-knowledge, carried out under Italian Law 4/2013 on non-regulated professions, and the consultation does not replace medical or psychological care. The reading does not predict the future and reiki resolves no illness; together, though, they offer two hours in which someone looks at you carefully from two different angles. For many, that is already a great deal.
Cost and booking
Prices will be announced at launch, first of all to those on the list; as a guide, adding the two formats together on the Italian market comes to between 120 and 160 euros, and we will stay within that range.
